Update

Well for the most part it looks like the site is working.. I had to remove the captcha due to a bug in the your account module. also some e-mails are banned from registration mainly GMAIL. Yes gmail is banned from this site due to security issues and the fact alot of forum/comments spammers use gmail.
Also the short links seems to be a little buggy but were still experimenting with it. hopefully I can get all the bugs worked out of it real soon. Then I will work on readding a few of the addons back like the arcade.

Oh hey its me... I can see what your thinking your thinking oh god he is gonna do something to the site..... well your correct I am going to do something with the site. and hopefully this will be the last time lol.
Anyway ALL THE DOWNLOADS will be saved.... as for the user accounts and forums posts.... that may be another story but ill try and save it! if i can. anyway we will close. at midnight tonight EST. and reopen when everything is done... hopefully it wont take long.

So I decided to re-enable the shortlinks mod. which seems to be working for the most part.
I have a few more tweeks to do hopefully it wont take to damn long to get it all working correctly lol, anyway if you find a bug in the system please post a bug report in our forums....

NYPD Officer Admits False Arrests to Fill Quotas

NEW YORK (WABC) ? An Eyewitness News investigation talks to a police officer who reveals the pressure they are under to make quotas.
Officer Polanco says One Police Plaza?s obsession with keeping crime stats down has gotten out of control. He claims Precinct Commanders relentlessly pressure cops on the street to make more arrests, and give out more summonses, all to show headquarters they have a tight grip on their neighborhoods.

Microsoft's 'Operation b49' chokes Waledac botnet

Microsoft?s Digital Crimes Unit has effectively shut down the Waledac botnet, cutting off cybercriminal access to hundreds of thousands of infected Windows computers around the world.
In partnership with security vendors and law enforcement officials, Microsoft implemented ?Operation b49″ and moved to the federal courts to get a temporary restraining order cutting off 277 Internet domains believed to be run by criminals as the Waledac bot.
According to Microsoft associate general counsel Tim Cranton, the action quickly and effectively cut off traffic to Waledac at the ?.com? or domain registry level, severing the connection between the command and control centers of the botnet and most of its thousands of zombie computers around the world. Students'-eye view of Webcam spy case

Students at Herriton High School in Lower Merion School District near Philadelphia are given Apple MacBook laptops to use both at school and at home. Like all MacBooks, the ones issued to the students have a Webcam. And, in addition to the students' ability to use the Webcam to take pictures or video, the school district can also use it to take photographs of whomever is using the computer.
In a civil complaint filed in federal court, a student at the school, Blake Robbins, said he received a notice from an assistant principal informing him that "the school district was of the belief that minor plaintiff was engaged in improper behavior in his home, and cited as evidence a photograph from the Webcam."
The district said in a statement that the "security feature was installed to help locate a laptop in the event it was reported lost, missing or stolen so that the laptop could be returned to the student." The district further explained that "upon a report of a suspected lost, stolen or missing laptop, the feature was activated by the district's security and technology departments. The tracking-security feature was limited to taking a still image of the operator and the operator's screen." The district claims it has "not used the tracking feature or Webcam for any other purpose or in any other manner whatsoever." Read More

Told ya I was going to do stuff...... Anyway all the old 2009 yahoo files are now gone. (That was about 800 Downloads) saving me about 700MB in diskspace. HA! HA!
Also still adding stuff been on the kick of adding PHP-Nuke Themes everyday hopefully soon I will have them all added and I can start to work on the freeware section......
